The Embossing Tool Set is designed for powered embossing on select Silhouette machines. Use with the Embossing Mat (replacing the Electrostatic Bed) for best results. Follow the steps below to begin embossing:
- Power off your machine and remove the Electrostatic Bed if installed.
- Insert the Embossing Mat securely into the machine base.
- Select either the Fine (1 mm) or Wide (3 mm) embossing tool based on your design needs.
- Insert the embossing tool into Tool Holder 2 (powered carriage) of your Curio 2, Cameo 5, or Cameo 5 Plus.
- Secure your material (e.g., foil, cardstock, Score & Emboss paper) onto the Embossing Mat using tape if necessary.
- In Silhouette Studio, choose the correct embossing tool and set your design and material type.
- Send the emboss job to your machine and allow it to complete before removing the material.
