The Rotary Blade (Type C) is used to cut soft, flexible, and specialty materials such as fabric, felt, and crepe paper. It rolls rather than drags, offering clean cuts without backing material. Follow the steps below for proper use:
- Ensure your machine is one of the following: Cameo 4 series, Cameo 5 series, or Cameo Pro MK‑II.
- Insert the Rotary Blade into Tool Holder 2 (the Type C carriage on the right side).
- Place your material on a strong tack cutting mat to prevent shifting.
- Load the mat into your machine and open Silhouette Studio.
- Select your material type, and choose the Rotary Blade (Type C) as the tool.
- Adjust your design and send it to the machine to begin cutting.
- Unload the mat carefully after the cut is complete and remove your material.
